We think bookkeeping software stops one step too early.
Almost every tool in this category is an invoicing app that grew sideways. It will help you bill a customer and photograph a receipt, and then, at the point where the year has to be closed, it hands you a CSV and wishes you luck. The hard part is the part it skips.
Hyrlo is built the other way round. We started at the trial balance — the thing an accountant actually needs — and worked backwards to the receipt. That is why the register is a real double-entry ledger rather than a list of transactions, why an approval is part of an entry rather than an email, and why year-end reads itself.

On automationNothing posts without a personWe will read a document, propose a coding and remember your correction. We will not quietly put a number in your ledger. An automated mistake is worse than a manual one because nobody was watching.
On features and priceEvery plan carries every moduleYou pay for seats and volume, not for the part of the ledger you happen to need. Gating year-end behind a higher tier would mean the moat only exists for people who can afford it.
On your dataExportable, alwaysEverything you put in comes out in a form that is useful somewhere else. Lock-in by inconvenience is not a strategy we are interested in.
